InovaMed Events is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce whilst eliminating discrimination. Our aim is to maintain a positive working environment allowing employees to feel safe and respected at work. This policy was written with the Equality Act 2010 in mind and we expect this policy to be adhered to by all; staff, contractors, clients and the general public.

 

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Provide equality, fairness and respect in relation to employment regardless of if temporary, part-time or full-time,

​

  • Challenge and oppose all forms of discrimination,

​

  • Not discriminate by any protected characteristics: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex.


 

This organisation commits to:

  • Encouraging equality and diversity in the workplace,

  • Creating a friendly working environment, free from bullying, harassment and discrimination,

  • The taking of complaints including bullying, victimisation and discrimination seriously,

​

  • Monitoring and auditing workplace information (such as; age, gender, ethnic background, ect..) in accordance to meet organisational aims and objectives.
